This map shows flooding Miami-Dade County could see from a storm that dropped a
little
over 10 inches of rain in two days in 2022 and in 2052, with the additional foot of sea level rise
scientists predict the region could see by then. That's about what Miami-Dade saw from the rain
system
in early June that strengthened into Tropical Storm Alex. The estimates come from nonprofit climate
research group
First Street Foundation and
show flood depths in centimeters from rainfall, storm surge
and tidal flooding.
